About
I’m 3x0t1k — a penetration tester with roughly 4 years of background in IT administration and network security engineering.
It all started with a fake YouTube video where some guy supposedly turned off all the lights in his house from his phone. I was a kid, I had no idea it wasn’t real — but something clicked. That moment sent me down a rabbit hole I never climbed out of.
Since then I’ve been learning, breaking things, and occasionally helping others do the same. When I started mentoring people from scratch, I noticed everyone runs into the same walls. Not mistakes exactly — more like perception problems. This field isn’t easy, and the skills it demands don’t come quickly. I figured I’d document what I know and share it, both for beginners finding their footing and for experienced folks who might still find something useful here.
So that’s what this blog is. Offensive security, hands-on techniques, and the occasional look at how defense works — but only because understanding it makes you better at breaking through it.
As of August 2026 I don’t have a full picture of everything I’ll post here, but whatever ends up here will be something I considered worth sharing. I have a few certifications, I know there’s a lot more to learn, and I’m not planning to stop anytime soon.
Hopefully something here helps you. If it does — that’s enough.
